5 THINGS SHING DID TO TRANSLATORS
1. Not focusing on team management, just being aggressive and causing hostility with other game translation teams. Making fun of the whole team's honor. Even cursing the entire dark Switch community, kicking the rice bowl of his own teammates (reasons explained below).
2. Oppressing and causing discomfort to your own translators. Pressing KPIs, pressing progress.
3. No transparency in income, expenses, donations. Use the so-called reputation of the whole team to get the % donation of the translator.
4. Not respecting the opinion of the group. The TRT collective was built by each person's translations, the foundation does not belong to any one individual. But the right to self-determination belongs to ShinG.
5. Talent – poor technique but often makes things difficult for the team.
EXPLANATION FOR EACH SECTION
Section 1: Drama creator
– When dramas are hostile and curse other translator teams, whether right or wrong, the leader is always ShinG. Even though he leads a large team, he does not focus on improving or supporting his translators. Just trying to curse other teams of translators who have animosity towards the team.
– Most recently, there was an incident where the team's honor was made a joke. Take the TRT Fanpage and curse the entire dark switch community, kicking the rice bowls of your own teammates. When advised by his teammates, he has the same attitude as a superior, not knowing the difference between right and wrong – power-obsessed.
Section 2: Oppressing translators
– According to the translator, he left the team. The most typical example is the project to quickly translate Resident Evil 4 DLC in three days. That translator just got his feet wet and just joined the team. Didn't receive any support. Being forced to translate quickly to compete with other teams. The reward for completing the KPI is also gone
– After all the buzz about the Hades project, it was transferred to a translator who was not yet established (this guy joined the team as a tester, so when he joined the team, he was often scrutinized by ShinG). And received a loving line “If you can't do it then fuck you”. And now when that translator leaves, the translation is withheld.
Section 3: Stealing money from translators
– Total donations received are 100% after accounting – ShinG's wife will divide according to the following formula:
– 10% direct deduction – team fund. Remaining 90%. Then it will have to be divided further.
– 20%/90% for text retrieval techniques from ShinG and other brothers.
– 10%/90% for the photo designer. When renting, ShinG did it himself, picking up photos from the internet.
– 10%/90% for Fanpage staff. None other than ShinG.
– Amount of money the translator receives: 100% – 10% – (40/90%) = 56.667%. That is the final number for the non-stop efforts day and night.
– The total donation amount has not been detailed or declared. Notify the translator once a month. If there is a notice to stop accepting donations but there are still members who support, the translator will still not be able to get any money.
– 10% is cut directly to fund the team for the purpose of running advertisements for Vietnamese versions. But this money was spent without any notification at all. Money is shared but spent individually. There is little advertising for Vietnamese products, and there are no events organized for the team. After the translator leaves, the money contributed to the fund is considered completely lost. Not to mention, ONLY THE TRANSLATOR WHO CLOSED THE FUND HAS THE TECHNIQUE OF EAT LESS, SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO CLOSE.
– 10% for fanpage live + 10% for photo design. Instead of having to cut out the team's funds for the people on site and the technical expenses for making photos, now the TRANSLATORS ARE PAYING IT ALL. He gets a few crappy jobs but takes 10% of the total income of each translation.
– Closing the team fund, designing photos, and paying the person on the page should only have to pay a certain amount, but now the translator has to cut the results he produces by a percentage.
Section 4: Not respecting other members' opinions
– Not only is the spending unclear and cannibalizing, ShinG also decides all activities in the team, without asking or consulting anyone. Even though he's just a technician and not the founder of the team, the biggest contributor is the translator. But he considers himself the FATHER OF THE TRANSLATORS, THE ONE WHO MADE THE RED TEAM FAMOUS.
– When being advised or discouraged, he uses a childish, petty tone that makes others respect and humble him. Does not have any real leadership qualities but always considers himself the center of the universe.
– All expenditures in the TEAM FUND section are not public and transparent. Donation statistics are not detailed but are only written on a sheet in Google Drive. When asked, he used the phrase “BROTHERS IN THE TEAM LIVE TOGETHER WITH EMOTION, DON'T YOU BELIEVE HIM?” then his attitude appeared to avoid answering. This is definitely not a scam!
Section 5: Personal weakness
– Stealing the translator's money, unprofessional attitude and poor skills. A typical example is taking the wrong text, lacking technique, giving the translator a jumbled mess of Zelda text. Translators have to self-organize, search for text errors, and fix them themselves without receiving any support. Even though I had to pay a huge amount of my personal income
– Unreasonable work assignment, some games are difficult, the text is long, and they are thrown directly at beginners who are still new and have no experience. But under the pressure of the person who claims to be the leader of the team, the translator has no choice but to agree. IF YOU CAN'T DO IT, C*T
