Part of Dragon Ball’s success is due to its array of compelling characters, most of which display incredible powers. Dragon Ball has always had strong, cosmic characters. Therefore, the power of Goku or Gohan is constantly being challenged.
5. Broly – The strongest Super Saiyan Blue
Broly is one of Dragon Ball’s most controversial characters, even though he only made an official appearance in Dragon Ball Super: Broly. The latest version of Broly has a certain change in the biography compared to Dragon Ball Z, but the Legendary Super Saiyan state is more dangerous.
It took Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta’s effort to defeat Broly and even then victory is not guaranteed. Gohan knows that he cannot defeat Broly in any version.
4. Goku Black
Dragon Ball Super features some of the most creative villains in the entire franchise. Goku Black is the anime’s unknown because this evil clone of Goku almost defeats all the characters. Goku Black is very persistent, especially after merging with his other half to become Fused Zamasu. Zamasu merges with too much with Vegito Blue and Future Trunks. Finally, Omni-King Zeno solved this problem. Gohan barely made an impression of superior strength against Goku Black.
3. Uub
Uub remains one of Dragon Ball’s most intriguing plot themes. Uub is the reincarnation of the villain Kid Buu and the final episodes of Dragon Ball Z confirm that he will play an important role in the future. Goku left home to raise and train Uub, and he also lent his powers to him during the crucial moment of the war against Moro. Uub was still a child and didn’t fully understand his power yet, but it was unlikely that he would defeat Gohan.
2. Jiren
Tournaments are common in Dragon Ball, but Super’s anime involves a giant duel between dozens of the strongest fighters from across the multiverse. Universe 7 gets most of the other teams done quickly, but Universe 11 survived until the last minute, thanks to Jiren. Jiren is a stern Pride Trooper who becomes Goku’s biggest obstacle. Jiren’s strength was the factor that pushed Goku to become an Ultra Instinct for the first time, which still wasn’t enough to defeat Jiren.
1.Goku
Dragon Ball was originally Goku’s story, but the situation began to change in Dragon Ball Z. DBZ was set up for Gohan to surpass his father but his strongest Saiyan status was short-lived. Gohan’s progress stalled after Buu’s arrival and only became more complacent in Dragon Ball Super. Goku is constantly reaching new heights, which even impresses the gods, while Gohan’s growth is much less obvious.
