Janna
With her versatility, Janna is an extremely strong champion when she can support most of the mainstays in the Teamfight Tactics. However, Janna’s Hero Cores are not of equal value. Basically, Janna is a support champion, so the main core – The Messenger (increasing attack stats and true damage skills) is not suitable for this character.
Janna is a good support, but her Hero Core is inefficient – source: Riot Games
For the Exaggerated Forecast upgrade, the power is better, but the effect is quite low for a Hero Core of a 5-money champion. According to statistics from Metatft.com, the Exaggerated Forecast core only has an average position of 4.82 (extremely low number).
Vel’Koz
Despite the nerf, Vel’Koz is still an extremely annoying champion thanks to his ability to stun the main. Even so, Vel’Koz’s Hero Core is badly designed. Even according to statistics from Metatft.com, they only own an average position of 5.01 (Frozen Tundra) and 5.25 (Frozen).
The fact that Vel’Koz has been nerfed has made the Hero Core of this unit also weak – source: Riot Games
With the Frozen Tundra core, the 30% attack speed reduction for 8 seconds only helps the player’s squad take slightly less damage. Meanwhile, the Frost core is too difficult to use when it requires Vel’Koz to possess an extremely large mana regeneration ability. With Vel’Koz’s max mana being increased to 70 points, this core becomes even less realistic than before.
Soraka
After version 13.3 was released, the Jax – Gladiator team combined with Soraka in the backline returned to the Tactics Arena meta. Soraka proved to be an extremely annoying general when he was able to heal well, adding damage to the Gladiator generals. However, the advice of the masters is not to use Soraka’s Hero Core at this time.
Janna’s Hero Cores proved to be quite bad when entering real combat – source: Riot Games
The reason is because both Soraka’s Hero Cores are relatively low value at the moment. With the Upgrade: Power Boost core, it has been nerfed quite a bit when it only provides 15 mana every 5 seconds. Meanwhile, the Upgrade: Frenzy core requires your squad to stay in combat for 15 seconds to take effect. Core “handicap” for most of the time of such teamfights can cause players to be eliminated early.
Conclude
With an unreasonable design or having been nerfed before, generals Janna, Vel’Koz, Soraka all possess Hero Cores with low effectiveness. Players should stay away from the Hero Cores of these champions to be able to rank up more effectively.
