Mutation
Needless to say, Mutant is the most “unlucky” formation in the construction process. Basically, for this squad to be strong, you need to have 3-star Malzahar and Cho’Gath, which is already difficult when you have to roll a lot at level 7. Next, you also need to have the right Mutation effect. with Malzahar and Cho’Gath. Finally, to win, your Cho’Gath needs to have a Guardian Seal to take advantage of his huge amount of health.
It takes too many conditions to be strong, so Cho’Gath and the Mutant team don’t have high stability
In addition to the above, to build a successful Mutant team, you need to own Cho’Gath early because this unit must accumulate a lot of health. It is clear that with such reliance on “chance” factors, the stability of the Mutant team is extremely low and not suitable for “rush rank” at the end of the season. You may have an overwhelming victory with a Mutant lineup, but it’s not the type of team-comp that can “spam” constantly.
6 Basic Challenges
Although there is a greater stability in terms of strength than the Mutant team, the weakness of the Challenger team is relying a lot on the core technology. Especially with a basic Challenger formation with mains Yone, Fiora, you depend a lot on having cores like Knife Sharpening or Suppressing Swordsmanship to win. Given that Yone often uses Runaan’s Rage, Blue Bow, the absence of Knife Sharpening core will make this unit extremely lacking in damage.
Team 6 Basic Challenger really needs Knife Sharpening core for great damage
Moreover, the excessive use of 4-gold generals in the squad is also a big minus point for the basic 6 Challenger team. You’ll most likely have to suffer midgame to get to level 8 and then roll afterwards in the hopes of pushing at least Yone and Fiora to 2 stars. Not to mention that you need to have Kai’Sa to solve the game, but with the proportional nerf from Riot, this becomes much more difficult.
Sorcerer – Empire
Among the squads related to the Empire of the Truth Arena, the Mage team is the most affected. The reason is because this squad is too dependent on you owning 3-star Swain, fully equipped to have good resilience and resistance in the front line. When this unit is nerfed, the other mages in the backline also become much easier to kill. Keep in mind that the ADC – Guardian lineup still exists in the meta and Kog’Maw can “blow” your Swain quite simply.
Swain is the Empire champion most affected
Moreover, this squad has a much lower power mutation than other Empire teams when Samira or Talon do not benefit too much from having the Sorcerer’s Seal. So in matches with other Empire teams like Assassins or Challengers, this squad is often at a big disadvantage. So the advice here is that you should choose a safer, easier option with the Empire race to play around Samira, Talon to climb the rank instead of Swain at the moment.
