With 500Bros suddenly announced to stop broadcasting CS: GO since October, fans of this game are extremely confused.
Recently, Tran Anh Dung – the founder of 500Bros Studio, also known as Dung Kajima, recently announced to stop broadcasting CS: GO on the 500Bros channel system from October 2022.
Specifically, according to Mr. Dung, “500Bros is very sorry that we cannot continue to obtain ESL’s broadcasting rights in Vietnam to continue serving the audience. We also tried very hard but it was “impossible”, very very sorry to all of you. Therefore, all CS:GO production and commentary will be discontinued from October 2022, specifically October 2, 2022 after the end of ESL PRO LEAGUE.” In addition to the difficulty in broadcasting rights, Mr. Kajima also shared about the difficulties in maintaining the CS: GO segment in Vietnam. Partly because the tournament content accounted for 70-80% of the production time, along with the personnel problem, the 500Bros team had to make this difficult decision.
500Bros was founded in 2015 and has become one of the largest Esports streaming channels in Vietnam, especially with the game CS: GO. This is also an official partner with ESL, broadcasting and commenting live matches of this tournament. And now, when it is announced to stop broadcasting CS: GO on its entire system, CS: GO fans in Vietnam will lose the only channel to be able to watch extremely explosive matches in the future.
With the current activities, many people think that the 500Bros team will focus on the Valorant segment – when this is also a game with similar gameplay mechanics to CS: GO and the community is also growing day by day.
