Remember not long ago, the Korean giant Netmarble acquired a group of game developers (TeamSoulEve) and embarked on the development of a project called Overprime. At that time, Overprime was introduced as a game product built on the Unreal Engine 4 platform. At that time, many people thought that Overprime would be a Korean AAA style MMORPG or ARPG game.
However, Overprime is actually a MOBA game and it uses Paragon content that Epic Games has discontinued. This is explained by Netmarble as legal because Epic Games has allowed free use of all Paragon’s “properties”. And recently, Netmarble has revealed the latest images of the MOBA blockbuster called Overprime.
Overprime is Netmarble’s first 3D third-person shooter (TPS) MOBA game for Windows PCs. In a nutshell, Overprime combines a 3D 3D shooter with the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre, bringing the best of both worlds together on beautiful, science-inspired battlefields study fiction.
Basically, players will still take on one of the five roles in the familiar 5vs5 combat system of the MOBA battlefield when engaging in tactical gameplay and tight synergies to win. As a shooting MOBA game, Overprime will certainly make gamers feel excited when it is released in the next 2022.
