Kodoani.com – The February issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Shounen Ace magazine revealed on Friday that the manga spinoff author Shiwasu Hoshikawa Bungo Stray Dogs BEAST Based on the light novel of the same name by Asagiri will end in the magazine’s next issue in January.
The side story follows Ryūnosuke Akutagawa, who vows revenge against a man in black to rescue his sister. However, when he was about to starve to death, a man from the Armed Detective Agency appeared.
Hoshikawa launched a manga adaptation in December 2019. Kadokawa published the manga’s third compiled book volume on August 3. The author announced on Twitter in July that the manga is coming to an end.
Light Novel Bungo Stray Dogs BEAST released in Japan in April 2019.
The spinoff is adapting the live-action film Bungo Stray Dogs the Movie: Beast, which hits theaters in Japan on January 7.
The first television anime adaptation aired from April to June 2016, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. The anime’s second 12-episode series aired from October to December 2016, and Crunchyroll once again streamed the series as it aired. The third anime season premiered in April 2019.
Manga Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! (Bungo Stray Dogs Ruff!) got an anime adaptation in January.
An anime, titled Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple, premiered in Japan in March 2018.
