Kodoani.com – Muse Asia announced on Thursday that it has licensed the anime Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extra Extra Squire (Eiyū-Ō, Bu o Kiwameru Tame Tensei-Su: Soshite, Sekai Saikyō no Minarai Kishi). The anime will premiere in January 2023. Muse Asia will announce distribution details at a later date.
Naoyuki Kuzuya (Saiyuki Gaiden, Wild Adapter, Jūza Engi Egetsu Sangokuden) is directing the anime at Studio Comet.
Mitsutaka Hirota is in charge of the series’ scripts.
Reiichirō Ōfuji is designing the characters, with Tomoko Miyakawa, Rion Matsuda, and Maki Fukui serving as supporting character designers.
Ōfuji, Miyakawa and Matsuda are also the main animation directors, along with Masayuki Nomoto.
Kenta Higashiohji composed the music.
Fumiyuki Go is the sound director, while Emi Takanashi is assigned to the sound effects.
