A new trailer and new artwork introduces more of the upcoming Quintessential Quintuplets anime series, which will serve as the series finale.
Kodoani.com – The Quintessential Quintuplets The Movie released the first full trailer.
The first trailer was uploaded to YouTube by the series’ production studio, TBS Animation. The movie’s official Twitter account has also revealed a new key visual for the anime. The new series will be over 2 hours long and will be the sequel to the second season of the anime and the epilogue to the anime series, which will finally reveal which fairy Futaro kun will end up with. The film is scheduled to open in Japan on May 20, 2022.

The Quintessential Quintuplets – The house has 5 fairies tells the story of Futaro Uesugi, a high school student who is academically gifted but has no friends and is financially deprived. In dire need of money, Uesugi enrolled as a tutor to a wealthy Nakano family and five identical daughters; The compassionate Ichika, the tough Nino, the quiet Miku, the outgoing Yotsuba and finally, the stern maknae, Itsuki. In the opening chapter, the story reveals that Uesugi will eventually marry one of the five sisters, and leaves readers guessing throughout the series as to who he will end up marrying.
The series was created by Negi Haruba and was first published in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2017. The series was one of the top 5 selling manga series in Japan in 2019 and won an Award. Kodansha Manga. A 12-episode anime adaptation created by Tezuka Productions, which aired the first season in 2019. The second season, also 12 episodes, was originally scheduled to premiere in 2020, but due to associated delays Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the second season isn’t released until 2021. The anime’s cast and crew will both reprise their roles for the series.
Haruba ended the story of Uesugi and the Nakano team in 2020, and is currently working on the latest series, Go, Go, Loser Ranger! , a parody of Japanese tokusatsu (masked heroes) shows such as Power Rangers and Kamen Rider. The series went on hiatus in September while Haruba faced an unspecified health condition and has yet to resume publication.
An international release date for The Quintessential Quintuplets The Movie has yet to be announced.
