Kodoani.com – After many failed attempts, things are finally starting to look for Bojji in Ranking of Kings episode 7. That’s not to say there aren’t moments where the little prince has faced doubt or discouragement, but for the first time in a while, he’s on a true path to progress, with someone willing to teach the guy even though he is not strong enough. Much of this volume is Bojji-centered and upbeat – which makes its interlinking scenes revealing Daida’s dark fate all the more unpleasant by comparison.

Prince Despa did not seem to be the ideal teacher for Bojji. He is cocky, greedy and egotistical. At first, Despa tricked Bojji for strength, it’s not unreasonable that Bojji could barely lift even a small ax, but Despa’s own strength was put in place when he returned home completely. knocked down after a bar fight. For all his flaws, however, Despa acknowledges Bojji’s determination and puts Bojji to work as an apprentice.
Bojji’s success so far in this apprenticeship has been a mix. He does an incredible job of cleaning, making Despa’s whole house shine. On the contrary, he cooks horribly, though even this reveals a hidden strength – while Despa and Kage find themselves ingesting Bojji’s poisonous concoction, it turns out that ancestors Bojji’s giant makes him immune to all poisons. While this episode is lighter on action than previous episodes, a scene where Bojji masterfully dodges bird attacks reinforces this cursed weak’s greatest physical gift.
Despa promises that, if Bojji is successful in his training, he will be able to pick up an optional weapon from an extensive arsenal. Bojji has decided, but the viewer cannot see the weapon Bojji is pointing at. For those who haven’t read the manga, there’s plenty of room to speculate what it could be: perhaps a light spear, or something based on explosives or gunpowder.
While Ranking of Kings has fans pondering a new secret in Bojji’s plot, it also answers the biggest question in Daida. Episode 6 has revealed that the Resurrection Stone potion will not give Daida Bosse the power as originally promised. Episode 7 confirms the potion’s effect: turning Daida’s body into a vessel for Bosse’s revived soul.
When the old king awoke in the body of his child, Bosse commented, “I sacrificed another son” – raising further questions about how many children Bosse abused or even even killed in his quest for power. Apparently for a while, even though Bojji had positive memories of his father, King Bosse was a complicated character. How bad can this father be?
