A new job advertisement for the Sony studio looks to be teasing a new Sucker Punch project.
It makes sense that Sucker Punch wants to make a series out of Ghost of Tsushima, a game that has sold over 8 million copies to date. So when job ads appear, our minds immediately automatically switch to Ghost of Tsushima 2. According to two new job ads on the Sucker Punch website, one ad asks to find a job. The appropriate gameplay design positions have been given by the publisher.
The job ads all express a desire for employees with experience in designing melee and stealth games, as well as working experience in building open world games. Considering all those factors, it’s really not too hard to think that this could be Ghost of Tsushima 2.
There’s also a roster for the Encounter designer, which focuses on stealth gameplay and encounters random enemies in the game. This position is quite challenging, and of course the recruitment requirements are also very strict. Of course, there is always the possibility that the above information is related to another IP, possibly a sequel to the Sly Cooper or Infamous series. There is currently no official information confirmed by Sony or the developer itself. So we will just have to wait and see what these recruitment requests are for in the future.
In April, we learned that Sucker Punch is no longer focusing on developing any new updates for Ghost of Tsushima, so there’s a reason the studio is focusing entirely on a new title. If you’ve been wanting to see action-packed samurai assassinations, you’ll surely be pleased to know that there’s currently a Ghost of Tsushima movie project in the works with John Wick’s direction. Chad Stahelski.
