Many viewers who loved the Twilight series until now still remember the extremely romantic and gorgeous wedding scene of Edward and Bella. Here, the two officially became husband and wife, ignoring all barriers of identity to find true happiness. But to create this memorable wedding scene, the film crew spent a lot of money and effort.
First, the team personally designed the wedding ceremony as if it was taking place in a 100% real forest. Everything from trees, rocks, flowers… is arranged by more than 20 employees. They also hang each wisteria branch by hand, creating a very romantic scene. But in order to protect this atmosphere, the team of Twilight had to work hard to preserve all the flowers every hour, preventing them from wilting from cold temperatures and year-round rainy weather.
Even after a hard day, film designer Tammy Polatsek’s team couldn’t rest when wild animals stomped across the podium. Therefore, the security work of the scene is extremely strict. The crew also rented a helicopter to monitor, in case there were fans infiltrating and causing the footage to be exposed.
The wedding in the twilight does not bring the feeling of luxury, even though the investment cost is very large
According to Polatsek, Bella and Edward’s wedding cost 300 thousand dollars to perform, but the feeling it brought was not so “expensive”. Bella’s wedding dress alone was worth $35,000 and was personally chosen by the designer, author Stephenie Meyer. Designer Carolina Herrera used mainly satin silk and French Chantilly lace to make the wedding dress. The back of the dress has 152 rows of buttons, and each sleeve has 17 buttons. The unique dress, but still respecting Kristen Stewart’s figure, quickly became a fever when it was filmed. Designer Alfred Angelo even created his own copy to serve customers.

After Twilight: Breaking Dawn part 1 was released, the wedding scene of Bella and Edward was well received. Many great segments of the two have been incorporated into Christina Perri’s MV for the song A Thousand Years, which has reached billions of views.
