Setekh Wenut is Genshin Impact’s newest boss in patch 3.4. It appears in the desert of Hadramaveth in the form of a giant earthworm. Moreover, when players travel in some areas in the Hadramaveth desert, they can be attacked by Setekh Wenut suddenly from the ground.
It can be said that the shape of Setekh Wenut is almost similar to a monster that the player has encountered before, the Relic Serpent. They all have the ability to go underground, have a state of energy accumulation, but there are also ways for the player to paralyze them quickly. So, Setekh Wenut, is there anything special about it?
Location and character of Setekh Wenut
Similar to the Eastern Tree and Explosive Tree, Setekh Wenut’s location is quite easy to find and also very quick to encounter it. You just need to move to the teleport point, then run a little to be able to make the hole, jump down to see this earthworm immediately.
Unlike the Relic Serpent, Setekh Wenut is a Wind-type monster. This, basically, also makes it possible for players to freely choose a character to confront it without fear of being engraved or damaged by the game’s elemental system.
After being defeated, Setekh Wenut will drop pistil of Sand Gravel and Jade of Growth, the necessary materials to upgrade the character, especially the newly launched character – Alhaitham.
How to beat Setekh Wenut?
Basically, the battle with this earthworm is mainly about taking advantage of the time it takes to rise to the surface. Players should make the most of characters with high speed attacks to deal the greatest damage. In addition, you should also pay attention to the status of Setekh Wenut, because every time it fires a wind-type light, it will cause no small damage.
Even so, Setekh Wenut also has a fatal weakness. When it loses a certain amount of health, it will rise up into the air and release orbs called ‘Cvitation Bullets’. The player needs to explode these orbs with elemental attacks, through which this earthworm will be dropped to the ground in a paralyzed state. The easiest way to do this is to use archers.
Depending on the element you use to paralyze it, its elemental resistance will decrease according to that element. Players are encouraged to mainly use 4 elemental systems: Fire – Lightning – Ice – Water, because the system of Nham – Thao cannot paralyze Setekh Wenut.
Achievements with Setekh Wenut
Like the other bosses, the player can get 3 achievements related to this monster. After being ‘poked’ in the desert for the first time, the player will receive the achievement ‘I Hate ‘Em Myself!’. The 2nd achievement, ‘He Who Controls the Spice’, will be activated after you break two ‘Cavitation Bullets’ and paralyze Setekh Wenut. The final achievement, ‘Flat out’, will be activated when you attack it again in the desert.
