With the holidays Goku With Japan (May 9) getting closer and closer, the author and production team of the Dragon Ball manga/anime seems to be looking for a way to celebrate the holiday in the biggest way possible. According to the Twitter account that specializes in leaking news about Dragon Ball named @DBSChronicles, Toei Animation is preparing to unveil a new Dragon Ball project on the upcoming Goku Day. It is very normal for Toei Animation to make an announcement about Goku Day. But if we take a closer look at what has happened in this event in recent years, we might find something out of the ordinary.
Specifically, on this holiday of 2019, Toei held an event to vote for the most favorite Goku form. In 2020, it is a vote for the top 30 most popular Goku costumes. And 2021 is the premiere of the movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. However, 2022 was left open until this year’s Goku holiday (2023).
It doesn’t stop at work Toei did not hold any events on the day Goku Last year, one thing that made many fans of the anime world extremely excited was that Luffy’s birthday (May 5) is also very close.
