A gameplay segment from the canceled Scarface 2 game was suddenly shared widely online.
Scarface was originally an action-adventure game developed by Radical Entertainment and released in 2006 for PS2, Xbox, Wii, and PC. An Xbox 360 version of the game was planned but never released. A sequel, which featured Tony Montana traveling to Las Vegas, was also in development. Unfortunately, the project was eventually canceled for unknown reasons, which made the gaming community curious about what the inside of the game would be like.
Now, game footage has been discovered by YouTuber Mafia Game Videos, showing the game running in a pre-test state. According to the channel, the game was canceled when the developer Radical Entertainment was acquired by Activision in 2008. The video appears to be running on Xbox 360 / PS3 hardware, which can be seen with a Las Vegas cityscape. quite beautiful, well-lit at night like an American entertainment city.
In this segment you will see a gun battle taking place, you will see our main character armed to destroy enemies along the way. With the initial test scenes it can be seen that the game produces three different results.
Tony can shoot the enemy, or be killed by the enemy, or can also be saved by the NPC in the game. It seems that this is the money-making element of the game because very few games can do this. The original game received rave reviews, with the PS2 version scoring 75 on review aggregator Metacritic.
It’s a pity for the game that it died in its infancy, without a clear performance. With what can be seen in this clip, it is clear that the game has a lot of potential. Hopefully the publisher will restore and further develop this project so that it can appear with a more polished appearance in the future.
