After parting with League of Legends, perhaps Garena Lien Quan Mobile becomes a “deadgame” sooner or later when a big tournament like AIC suddenly “flies”.
Recently, the fact that Garena “gives up” the right to publish League of Legends has attracted a lot of attention from the Vietnamese and international gaming community. Many fans are curious about the image of League of Legends as well as the VCS tournament after being run by a unit other than Garena in Vietnam. But recently, many fans speculated that after League of Legends, Garena also “let go” of Lien Quan Mobile in the future.
Not only League of Legends, but Garena can also say goodbye to Lien Quan Mobile in the near future.
More specifically, before entering the new season, Garena’s Lien Quan Mobile fanpage will share the roadmap of future Esports tournaments. In 2022, too, Garena revealed the AIC (Arena of Valor International Championship 2022) tournament in the middle of the year. But by the 2023 route, Garena Indonesia shared about the international tournament “International” without mentioning the name like AIC or APL, etc.
Garena Indonesia did not mention AIC 2023 but only an “International” tournament in the Esports 2023 tournament schedule.
For that reason, many fans speculate that Lien Quan Mobile is gradually being “cleared” for mobile MOBA games such as King of Glory (international version) and League of Legends: Wild Rift, which are the darlings of Tencent. Therefore, even if Garena wants to “hold” Lien Quan Mobile, it cannot continue to release this game.
In fact, in the past time, there have been many Lien Quan Mobile teams that “turned the car” to compete in the Glory of Kings, even many names were dissolved right after the 2022 season ended.
But for whatever reason, the sudden disappearance of a major tournament like Lien Quan Mobile’s AIC made the fan community very confused and worried.
