Begin Akebi’s Sailor Uniform episode 9, viewers got ready with Komichi for a trip to the shopping mall with the trio of close friends. She spotted Tomono reading a book on the bus and didn’t want to disturb her so she patiently waited for her to finish, which was convenient as soon as they reached the mall. Tomono was so absorbed in her book that she didn’t notice Komichi until she pressed the stop button.
Tomono recommends a book to ErikaTomono regains attention at the bookstore. Erika was looking at a book that interested her. Tomono recognized it as the one she had just read and happily offered to lend her a copy. Since she was in the literature club, Touko asked her if she would consider writing a story herself. Tomono said her dream is to write one. The problem was that she couldn’t think of a topic. They asked her what her favorite genre was but she liked them all because she loves reading in general. Now reading takes precedence over writing.
Before we get back to the story, this is Erika’s first time eating a hamburger and embarrassing everyone thinking she looks cute while enjoying it.
Before deciding to call it a day, Tomono went to get the book she lent Erika when she noticed the bookmark was missing. They searched everywhere for it, even calling the last bus they took to check if it was found inside but no luck. She couldn’t hide the pain in her heart. Fortunately, a mysterious kind person found it and tied it to a balloon outside the entrance to the mall. Tomono’s joy soon turned to wind. As the ball flew further, she recalled the importance of the bookmark in her life.
A nearby tree thought the wind had gone too far with its prank, so it helped keep the balloon for Tomono. The point is to bring it down. After some great teamwork, that day was saved and we were all rewarded with her beautiful smile, especially Komichi. Our heroine makes the girls happy at a time.
The rest of the episode features the girls running in the rain. Guess who encouraged everyone to join. It ends with the beautiful sight of the sky. It’s interesting because we often get rainbow after rain in anime.
