Kodoani.com – Anime television series based on the light novel series “Berserk of Gluttony” by author Ichika Isshiki has announced the broadcast schedule and some details about the main cast. It is expected that the anime will air first on U-NEXT and Hōdai Anime Service on October 1, before made its television debut on October 4 on Tokyo MX, Sun TV and BS11 channels.
Below is the list of main cast of the anime “Berserk of Gluttony”:
Ryota Ohsaka voices Fate Graphite. Tomokazu Seki voices the Black Sword of Greed. Hisako Tojo voices Roxy. Misato Matsuoka voices Myne. Hitomi Sekine voices Eris.
The work is directed by director Tetsuya Yanagisawa (who has made works such as “High School DxD” and “Orient”) at ACGT. The script was supervised by Mariko Kunisawa (who worked on “Ascendance of a Bookworm” and “Orient”) and the characters were designed by Takafumi Furusawa. The opening theme song is titled “Jekyll & Hyde” and will be performed by musical group EverdreaM, which also includes voice actors Misato Matsuoka and Hitomi Sekine.
“Berserk of Gluttony” tells the story of Fate Graphite, a person cursed with the skill “Gluttony”, making him always hungry and never full. However, after he killed a thief and devoured his soul, Fate’s power of gluttony awakened. The story will follow him as he takes control of his power and creates his own destiny.
“Berserk of Gluttony” was pre-published on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō service, and Isshiki later launched the novel in 2017. The manga adaptation also debuted on Micro Magazine’s Comic Ride website in 2018.
