First TV anime to premiere in NTV’s Friday night time slot for feature films
Kodoani.com – The manga’s television anime production team Freen: Beyond Journey’s End (Sōsō no Frieren) by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe debuted a second trailer on Friday. The trailer reveals multiple character voices and announces that the anime will premiere with a two-hour special on September 29.
The anime will premiere on September 29 at 9:00 p.m. (8:00 a.m. EDT). This will be the first television anime series to premiere in NTV’s “Kinyō Roadshow”, a Friday night show typically devoted to feature films. The anime will then air the following episodes in October in the new NTV anime time slot.
The Elf sorceress – Frieren and her brave allies defeated the demon king and brought peace to the land there. The struggle ended, they all separated and lived a quiet life. Yamada and Abe launched the manga in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in April 2020. The 10th volume was released on March 16. The manga went on hiatus from January 18 and continued. published on March 22.
The manga has won several awards, including the New Creators Award for the 25th Annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Awards in 2021 and the 14th Manga Taisho Awards in 2021.
