FUUTO PI, the television anime of the Fūto Tantei manga, held a “The First Case” event with its cast on May 3, 2022, and the event announced the artists performing the song. theme, August 1 premiere and new main image:
Live-action series Kamen Rider W actor Kouji Kikkawa composed the brand new theme song “Tsumi to Batsu to Angura” and Mitsuru Matsuoka wrote the lyrics and sang the song.
The anime will premiere on the Tokyo MX channel on August 8, and will also stream first on the U-NEXT service at midnight on August 1.

Yousuke Kabashima is directing the anime at Studio KAI, with Ayataka Tanemura as assistant director. Kabashima is also listed as “Kamen Rider Dopant Animator” along with Masahiro Yamane. Tatsuto Higuchi is writing the series, with original manga creator Riku Sanjō assigned to oversee the series scripts. Hidekazu Ebina is designing the characters for the animation, and is also serving as the main animation director alongside Sei Komatsubara. Yukiyoshi Shikiji, Kazuhito Tomonaga and Kenta Yokoya are credited as the main animators.
The manga is the sequel to the 2009 Kamen Rider W series. Riku Sanjō, a key author of the original series, is in charge of the manga’s script. Masaki Satou is drawing manga. Toei producer Hideaki Tsukada is supervising the manga. Katsuya Terada is noted for the creature designs. Like the original series, the new sequel is once again set in the city of Fūto and focuses on the characters Shotaro Hidari and Philip.

The series launched in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits magazine in August 2017.
The Kamen Rider W series that aired from September 2009 to August 2010 was the 11th Kamen Rider show in Japan’s Heisei era. The show stars Renn Kiriyama as Shotaro Hidari and Masaki Suda as best friend Philip.
