The trailer featuring the characters from the last episode of the first season aired on Saturdays
Kodoani.com – The production team of the anime adaptation of the manga Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku of Yūji Kaku announced on Saturday that the anime will get a second season. The staff revealed a trailer:
The video features the character Yamada Asaemon Shugen, who first appeared in episode 13 and the final episode of the first season on Saturday.
The anime premiered on April 1 and aired on TV Tokyo and its affiliates.
Kaori Makita directed the anime at MAPPA. Twin Engine is credited for planning. Akira Kindaichi is responsible for creating the series. Koji Hisaki designed the anime characters and Yoshiaki composed the music. Singer Ringo Sheena and musical project Millennium Parade collaborated on the opening theme song “WORK.”
The manga focuses on Gabimaru, once hailed as the strongest ninja, but now retired, violating the village’s laws. After his arrest, he claimed he had nothing left to live for. However, due to his superhuman level of training, he has unknowingly survived numerous executions, from beheading attempts to burning alive. Executioner Sagiri Asaemon tells him that he has a lifelong attachment to life, and gives him a mission to be acquitted: to find the elixir of immortality.
