Recently, the producer of the anime Kaina Of The Great Snow Sea has announced a new trailer along with information related to the work.
Kaina of the Great Snow Sea is an upcoming Japanese anime series conceived by Tsutomu Nihei and produced by Polygon Pictures to celebrate the studio’s 40th anniversary. The film is directed by Hiroaki Ando, the script is written by Sadayuki Murai and Tetsuya Yamada, and the music is performed by Kohta Yamamoto and Misaki Umase. It is slated to premiere on January 12, 2023, on Fuji TV’s +Ultra. Yorushika will perform the opening theme song “Telepath”, while Greeeen will perform the ending theme song “Juvenile”. A manga adaptation with art by Itoe Takemoto has been serialized in Kodansha’s monthly shounen manga magazine in Shounen Sirius since February 2022. Crunchyroll holds the license for both the manga and the anime.

Originally announced on January 20, Kaina of the Great Snow Sea is a brand new story by manga artist Tsutomu Nihei (Knights of Sidonia, Aposimz). The series tells the story of Kaina and Liliha, two young people from different worlds, together they go on a journey to save the world.
