Kodoani.com – The official website of the TV anime series Renmei Kūgun Kōkū Mahō Ongakutai Luminous Witch (Allied Air Force Magical Idols Luminous Witch) posted a short version of the anime’s second promotional video on Sunday. The video premiered at the 2021 World Wizarding Music Festival on October 10.
The anime’s production committee delayed the anime’s release date to 2022 due to “various reasons.” The anime was previously slated to premiere this year.
The story is a spinoff of Strike Witches, and centers on the story of the “witches who don’t fight.” Instead of fighting, they sang and performed music to protect the smiles of those who were driven from their homeland by Neuroi.
Anime stars:
Sayaka Tsuzuki as Eleonore Giovanna Gassion

Miu Kotosaka has taken a break from voicing due to health issues and will therefore not voice Sylvie Cariello in the anime. The anime’s official website says it will announce the voiceover at a later date.
Humikane Shimada drew the character designs for the New Witches. Shimada and Projekt World Witches are credited in the original. Shouji Saeki will direct the anime and handle the anime series’ staging. Shinya Murakami is credited for the work. Kadokawa is producing the music. SHAFT is animating the anime series.
