“Anthropos” will headline new anime episodes starting this fall
Kodoani.com – Only a few weeks left until the anime “Megumi no Daigo Kyuukoku no Orange” will air and we already have information about the opening song along with the performing artist.
The new opening song titled “Anthropos” will be performed by boy band Kanjani Eight. The group, from the Kansai region and managed by Johnny & Associates, performed the opening song “TWL” for Crayon Shin-Chan in 2011.
The members of Kanjani Eight hope that their song will bring hope and warmth to listeners. The song “Anthropos” was written and composed by Tatsuya Kitani, who performed the first opening and ending for “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War” and has been involved in composing the theme music for many other anime. such as “Mob Psycho 100,” “JUJUTSU KAISEN,” and “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon?”
Kitani said the song was inspired by a key moment in the anime, when the main character performs a “ritual to bring hope to people,” placing his hand on the face of a rescued person to make them look up. . He believes that Kanjani Eight, a group that has slowly but surely built their reputation over the years, will infuse that spirit and intention into his song.
Fans will have the chance to hear “Anthropos” for the first time in a PR video that will air during the MIX: Meisei Story episode on September 16.
“The anime series “Megumi no Daigo Kyuukoku no Orange” is scheduled to premiere in Japan on September 30, based on the sequel to the 1995-1999 manga “Megumi no Daigo”, titled “Megumi no Daigo Kyuukoku no Orange.”
