6 main members comment on news for fantasy light novel anime
The official website for the anime adaptation of Kei Sazane and Ao Nekonabe’s light novels is ‘Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World’ (Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjō, Arui wa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen) announced Friday that production on the sequel has been given the green light. The site posted articles about the sequel by the original author and illustrator, as well as the six main actors.
The first anime premiered on October 7, 2020 at 11:30 pm. Funimation streamed the anime as it aired in Japan, and it also streamed an English dub.
Shin Oonuma and Mirai both directed their first anime at SILVER LINK. Kento Shimoyama is in charge of the series’ script. Kaori Sato is credited as the character designer and chief animation director. Kaori Ishihara performed the opening theme song “Against.” Sora Amamiya performed the ending theme song “Koori no Torikago” (Cage of Ice) as her character Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX.
Yen Press is publishing the light novel and manga adaptation in English, and describes the story:

Kadokawa began publishing the novel in print in Japan in May 2017. Okama launched a manga adaptation in Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine in May 2018.
