That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is returning with a brand new anime special in just a few days, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Visions of Coleus has given fans a full first look preview the new anime by releasing the opening theme sequence before its premiere!
Anime “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” season 3 has been announced and is currently in production. Season 3 is expected to air in spring 2024. In the meantime, a new OVA called “Visions of Coleus” will be released soon on October 31, 2023.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Visions of Coleus will be released with Crunchyroll worldwide on October 31, and the new OVA special already gives fans a full look at what could be Looking forward to the release of the opening theme sequence.
With an opening theme titled “Hikari Hanatsu” performed by Takuma Terashima, the new opening reveals all the new faces Rimuru will meet in this special side adventure. Check out the opening of Visions of Coleus below:
“Visions of Coleus” is an original story written by Fuse. The story takes place between Season 1 and Season 2 of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime”, where Rimuru faces conspiracies surrounding the kingdom of Coleus.
Rimuru goes on a special mission assigned by Yuuki Kagurazaka. The King of the Coleus Kingdom is old and the war for the throne has begun within the royal family.
The main contenders were First Prince Sauzer, who was supported by the nobles, and Second Prince Aslan, who was supported by the local branch of the Free Guild, which had declared allegiance to him.
Rimuru’s mission is to approach the Coleus Kingdom as the Great Thief Satoru (大怪盗サトル daikaito satoru?) and resolve the situation, while uncovering a secret plot being hatched in the shadows.

This anime OVA stars Takuma Terashima, who created and performed many of the previous songs in the series as well as providing the voice of Satoru Mikami. The OVA also stars Miho Okasaki, who voices Rimuru Tempest.
