Happinet has revealed three more actors for the upcoming anime television adaptation of Ryousuke Hata's “Maō-gun Saikyō no Majutsushi wa Ningen Datta” (The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army is Human) manga by Ryousuke Hata, Kuma and Anajiro on Wednesday.
The cast includes Jun Fukuyama as Ike, Hina Tachibana as Satie, Shizuka Itōh as Cefiro, Manaka Iwami as Demon Lord Dairokuten, Azumi Waki as Lilith, and Kentarō Tone as Jiron.
The anime is expected to premiere in July on Tokyo MX and BS Asahi channels.
Norihiko Nagahama, known for directing episodes such as “Black Butler,” “Gintama” and “Laid-Back Camp,” will direct the series at Studio A-Cat. Touko Machida, who wrote the scripts for titles such as “Battle Game in 5 Seconds,” “The IDOLM@STER” and “My Master Has No Tail,” will oversee the series' scripts.

Happinet clearly mentioned that the anime is based on the manga adaptation of the original novel series. The story revolves around Ike, famous as “the strongest magician in the demon king's army”, who single-handedly conquered fortresses with his immense magic, making him feared by both allies and enemies alike. afraid of the title “monster”.

Ryousuke Hata first introduced this fascinating story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in February 2016, with the most recent update in November 2022. Since then, the story has been compiled into five volumes novels, with the latest volume released by Futabasha in April 2018.
Anajiro adapted the story into a manga in 2019, serializing it on Futabasha's Gaugau Monster website. The manga achieved success with the 10th volume released on January 30.
