REVOROOT, Pony Canyon produces a story about the main character achieving a 2nd job as a powerful sage
A website for the anime adaptation of the novels Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life: Daini no Shokugyō o Ete, Sekai Saikyō ni Narimashita (The Reincarnated Sage’s Alternate World Life: I Got a Second Profession, and Became the Most Powerful in the World), where the website revealed teaser images and the 2022 premiere date for the anime on Friday.
The story revolves around Yūji Sano, who works at a company that has a harsh attitude towards his employees. After bringing some part-time work home, he received a message on his computer: “You have been summoned to an alternate world!” It’s a game-like world, complete with status and skill bars. Yuuji raised a slime monster and thus became a tamer. Then he suddenly obtained a second profession – the sage – and awakened magical powers within himself. Yuuji’s alternate world adventure begins when he follows a slime, seemingly the weakest of all the monsters.
REVOROOT is animating the project and Pony Canyon is producing the music.
SB Creative’s GA Novel publisher began publishing the story with illustrations by Huuka Kazabana in 2018, and the ninth volume shipped on June 12. PONJEA launched a manga adaptation in 2018 and The 13th volume was published on August 21. Square Enix Manga & Books licensed a manga adaptation titled My Isekai Life: I Achieved Second Character Rank and Became the World’s Strongest Sage! . The first volume will ship on December 14.
Shinkoshoto’s light novel The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest (Shikkaku Mon no Saikyō Kenja) also has an anime adaptation that will premiere in January 2022.
