Kodoani.com – Website of the anime adaptation of the novel Undead Girl Murder Farce of Yugo Aosaki revealed on Tuesday that Shinichiro Miki will play Sherlock Holmes.
The anime will premiere on Fuji TV’s +Ultra channel in July.
The film will feature:
Tomoyo Kurosawa as Aya Rindo
Taku Yashiro as Tsugaru Shinuchi
Makoto Koichi as Shizuku Hasei
Mamoru Hatakeyama directed the anime at Lapin Track. Noboru Takagi is composing the series. Noriko Itou designed the characters based on the original designs by Zerogo Iwamoto. Naho Kozono is serving as the supporting character designer and animation director. Yuma Yamaguchi composed the music. Kazuhiro Wakabayashi is the sound director.
Aosaki launched the novel series in 2015. Kodansha published the novel’s third volume in April 2021.

Haruka Tomoyama launched a manga adaptation based on Aosaki’s story in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Sirius magazine in June 2016. It has since moved to Nemesis magazine in June 2017, and later It again arrived at the Comic Days website in September 2018. The third manga compiled book volume shipped in Japan in June 2018.
