Omega Strikers is developed by Odyssey Interactive. This is a development team made up of some former employees of League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics from Riot. Currently, Omega Strikers is about to enter a limited testing phase on both mobile devices and PC later this year.
With the experience of the same people who have many years of working on the League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics projects, Omega Strikers is expected to be successful from the moment of its launch. However, Omega Strikers will be different from other games when choosing a sports theme instead of breaking the usual tower.
This game will have a top-down perspective, each side will have three players divided into two factions. Three players from both sides will fight to get the ball into the opponent’s goal. It can be seen that the gameplay of Omega Strikers is quite simple with a fast tempo as well as many clashes from the very beginning of the match.
Each player will take on a unique role in the match from the champion of his choice. Each champion will have a unique ability, not just moving the orb on the map. For example, some champions have the ability to increase speed to create obstacles appearing on the field. Or some other generals will create powerful attacks on the entire map.
Basically, Omega Strikers will be a combat sports game. However, the use of tactics with each champion’s ability will be different, taking on a separate role that makes this game like a Massively Multiplayer Online Battle (MOBA) product. This can be considered as a special and unique MOBA game on the mobile platform.
Omega Strikers currently does not have an official release date. However, there has been a limited trial version given to some gamers to experience on PC. Mobile users will still have to wait for the next limited beta versions. It is known that Omega Strikers will release simultaneously on both iOS and Android after releasing on the PC platform.
