The film Arcane – Riot’s debut work in the TV Series segment, stormed the Annie Awards with 9 award nominations.
For a long time, Riot has been ridiculed by the League of Legends community as an entertainment company just because this publisher always brings high-quality music products or MVs for world championships. However, game bugs or champions that are “heavy” are out of control, after so many seasons, sometimes Riot doesn’t even bother to touch them. And it seems, Riot is also asserting that it “deserve” the title of “Riot Entertainment” that the community gives.
Like after the recent Worlds 2021, Riot has released its first cinematic masterpiece Arcane and needless to say, the quality of this animated film has created a global fever. Not only the gaming community, but also the outsiders because of the movie want to experience the game League of Legends. It can be said that Riot has succeeded with its first movie. This publisher also said that he is preparing for season 2 and maybe even Riot’s ambition is a cinematic universe based on the fantasy world of Runeterra.
Recently, Arcane has continued to prove Riot’s talent for “making movies, making music better than making games”. The film received 9 nominations at the Annie Awards – a similar award to the Grammy for music but for animated films. Arcane’s 9 nominations include:
– Best TV/Media
– FX – Best TV/Media
– Best character
– Best character design
– The best development direction
– Best design and manufacture
– Best storyline
– Best voice acting
– Best Screenplay
Up to this point, no one can doubt the filmmaking ability of “Riot Entertainment” anymore. But maybe because of that, gamers will still have to “wait” for a long time because of “200-year” champions or bugs that have existed since the beginning but have not been noticed by Riot until now.
