The first season of the Arcane animated series was released in November on Netflix, and after 9 episodes with a thrilling ending, League of Legends fans around the world in particular and sister fans. Vi-Jinx in general has been eagerly awaiting news of whether a second season is possible.
Set in Riot Games’ League of Legends universe, Arcane tells the origin story of characters from the utopian city of Piltover and the persecuted city of Zaun, including sisters Vi (Hailee Steinfeld) and Jinx (Ella Purnell).
Steinfeld is, of course, currently starring in Marvel’s Hawkeye series, which also debuted not too long ago, but the actress is less well-known now that Arcane screenwriters Christian Linke and Alex Yee have been hired. she to voice general Vi for 6 years until now to get the first part of this series.
“In many cases, the people we chose to work with at the same time they were part of the story, as well as the sprawling timeline of the Arcane series they became,” Yee told One Esports.
“It’s been great to see so much of the talent we’ve chosen to work with over the years have come out in a variety of characters and projects,” Linke said.
Another find was Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), the voice of Jinx. “We all know who she is in the game,” Yee said. “But we really wanted to bring and give this space so she could see the subtle and genuine person behind Jinx’s flashy, big and rebellious appearance, and I think Ella is real. okay in that.”
Arcane season 2 release date: When will it air?
Netflix confirmed that the second season of Arcane has begun production. According to Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent, the original series took six years to make, but in a recent tweet he promised that the wait for the second part won’t be that long:
Yes, we are actively producing the Arcane project for part 2.
Good news: You won’t have to wait 6 years (the time we did part 1).
Bad news: Arcane won’t be released in 2022.
So yeah, we are working on #arcane season 2. The good news: you won’t have to wait for 6 years (the time it took us to making season 1)The bad news: it’s not coming in 2022 ???? https:/ /t.co/IQoPyLnw1J

However, as Laurent said, Arcane won’t be launched anytime soon at least until 2023.
Arcane co-creators and writers Christian Linke and Alex Yee commented: “We’re delighted with the positive response from the community to the first Arcane season, and we’re working hard on the parts. produced at Riot and Fortiche to release the second part soon.”
Season one has a unique structure and concept, where the first three episodes have been released at the same time – you can expect like the first season there will be 3 episodes coming out in this second season.
According to Yee (via Superpixel). “This is the idea that we had very early on, about the release schedule. We are designing the story with 3 characters in mind (could be a band or a trio). Have you noticed that after every episode or ending every 3 episodes, there are usually some big events and moments in the movie?”
“I think that with each episode lasting more than half an hour, and you can only watch one episode a week, it doesn’t make you feel better, on the contrary, you will have a sense of excitement and anticipation. in the next episode next week, if we release all the episodes at the same time, it’s amazing how fast you can watch it, laughs Yee.”
“Also, Riot Games really wants to make Arcane an event – where fans and viewers can meet and speculate about what will happen in the next episodes, as well as what will happen next.”Easter eggs” in each episode that the producer deliberately put in. This really gave us a way to be objective and get the best of both worlds like the first installment between Piltover and Zaun. You don’t have to wait too long to be able to see the next episode every week, but you can talk to another friend and sit down together to exchange interesting things in the series that bring to you. Dear.”
Cast of Arcane Part 2: Who Will Join?
The following actors will certainly return to voice their characters:
• Hailee Steinfeld as Vi• Ella Purnell as Jinx (formerly known as Powder)• Katie Leung as Caitlyn
Meanwhile, a teaser posted on Arcane’s official twitter has fans wondering if there could be a compelling addition of other characters to the series.
This teaser contains no new scenes, just some dialogue between the characters, but most importantly at the end of the clip – Arcane fans believe they can hear the mechanical heartbeat of the character. League of Legends champion – Warwick, “half werewolf – half robot”. Recall your life before being tested in the laboratory of scientist Singed.

Arcane Part 2: What will happen?
The final episode of season one was definitely explosive and left behind many plot content themes that will be explored in season two.
Silco was killed, so Zaun had no leader and it was unclear who could take over. Potential candidate Jinx is losing control, so Vi may have to step down, especially since she is the adopted daughter of Zaun’s late leader, Vander.
More about Jinx, meanwhile, causing a big problem at the end of the episode, when she points the rocket launcher at the Council building – just as those inside are voting to pass the empowerment legislation. independence for Zaun. Her angry actions could spark a war between Piltover and Zaun, and it remains to be seen if any survivors of the explosion can confirm that the vote for Zaun to become a city real independence was passed or not.
It is unlikely that Jinx will be reunited with her sister Vi any time soon. At first, Vi wants to rekindle her relationship with Jinx, but watching her sister launch a rocket into a building full of people – Acting like a massacre, is hard to come by. can be ignored, the disagreement between the two sisters seems to only be deepened, but there is no hope of healing.
Reed Shannon has some plot expectations for future seasons (via CBR). “I would love to see Ekko and Mel interact in the movie. That’s crazy… There’s one thing about Arcane that I’m very interested in, because of the poverty disparity, because of the difference between the top city and the underground city, race is not an important thing to discuss. between the characters.”
“We wanted to tell more stories,” Linke told Superpixel. “There will be many things we want to explore whether it will be a TV show or a movie. I think similar to Arcane, we didn’t say at the outset that we wanted it to be a TV show or something. We just said, “Okay, we love these characters. This will be a story that we will tell.”
“And over time we discovered that we needed time for a TV show to have the depth we wanted – Vi and Jinx, Victor and Jayce, etc. But there could be a story. at some point it will be the focus of the Arcane movie. I think we definitely have plans to tell more stories when I actually explore this. I think the answer is yes, it will be soon.”
