Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade developed by Ubisoft, released for iOS and Android may soon be available to gamers.
Three months ago, Ubisoft introduced a trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade set in China in 215 BC. Recently, the testflight version is available for users to try, the official game release date will not be far away.
In the game, the player will take the role of Dengling Bai (Yuzi), protecting the village of Yongning which is being occupied by Y soldiers. In the process, he found Wei Yu, the two stood side by side to help the people. Juzi’s feats were recognized and appreciated by the Qin court troops and entrusted him with greater responsibilities ahead.
The 19-minute gameplay video reveals the character’s movements, moves, and the surrounding landscape. Players can perform parkour moves to overcome many complex terrains, this Ubisoft has very well recreated the typical gameplay of the Assassin’s Creed series.
The graphics of the game are sharp, detailed and there is no blurring or broken image. It is important not to see the lag even when the character goes to locations with many soldiers and villages. The battle scene, the cutscenes are also smooth and beautiful.
The sound in the game lacks the characters’ voices, noises, environment sounds… everything is silent in the testflight. We only hear a single background music, over and over. Perhaps the publisher will treat users to the “best part” when the game is really complete.
Some interesting things in the game: Auto run helps players not get lost in the relatively large map; Important targets are marked, showing the distance for more focused gameplay; Ultimate skill is very strong and takes a long time to accumulate, so the game seems to be very balanced in the combat system; The time spent on moving, chopping and slashing action, picking up items, doing quests, boss fights… harmoniously brings a variety of experiences, very attractive.
It is unknown whether the game only allows players to control Yuzi or many characters. Because Yuzi uses a short knife to easily perform stealth actions while Wei Yu uses a powerful long spear, attacking the enemy directly. If the player has the right to choose different characters at the start of the game, Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade has a very high replay value.
