May issue of Kodansha, Bessatsu Shonen magazine announces final chapter of manga Attack on Titan. The new print edition will begin arriving in bookstores across Japan on April 30.
The manga has ended after 11 and a half years of serialization. The manga’s 34th and final volume will ship on June 9.
Isayama launched the manga in Bessatsu Shonen magazine in 2009. Kodansha published the 33rd volume on the 8th. Kodansha Comics published the manga in English online and in print, and it shipped 32 volumes on the 22nd.
The first season of the television anime based on the manga premiered in April 2013 and the second season premiered in April 2017. The first season of the third season premiered in July 2018 and the second half was released. premiered in Japan on NHK General in April 2019. Attack on Titan’s final season premiered on NHK on the 7th and featured 16 episodes. The anime’s next episode will premiere “coming winter” on NHK General in Japan. Funimation season 2 of the final season is on “Winter 2022.”
The manga has also inspired several manga and spin-off novels, several spin-offs, games, and a live-action film project. The manga has more than 100 million copies in print worldwide.
