Final match Attack the giant The ending song, “Itterasshai” by Ai Higuchi, was revealed earlier today with an uncredited video. The song will be used in the episodic version of the final two special episodes.
Higuchi previously previewed “Akuma no Ko,” the film’s ending theme song. Attack on Titan Finale Part 2. She’s not the only one returning for the finale, as Linked Horizon also returns with a new theme song as well as the opening theme song.
To celebrate the end of the anime, the franchise will host an online event Attack on Titan: After Party on November 5. The event will feature 17 fun things for fans to enjoy – from interviews cast members to chats with staff, including Yuichiro Hayashi, Hiroyuki Sawano, Shintaro Kawakubo (manga editor), etc.
Attack the giant anime ends a long 10 year journey with this installment from studio MAPPA. The anime is based on the manga by Hajime Isayama serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from 2009 to 2021. The manga ended in April 2021 after 139 chapters, compiled into 34 volumes. The final, 34th volume debuted in June 2021. The manga was adapted into an anime by WIT Studio in 2013. Season 2 debuted in 2017, followed by a third season divided into two parts. The first season aired in the summer of 2018, while the second season began in April 2019. Studio MAPPA took over the franchise for the 4th season, titled Attack on Titan final season. The series began airing in December 2020 and has a total of 16 episodes. After finishing airing in March 2021, Season 2 was announced. Attack on Titan Finale Part 2 started in January last year. The final part was also divided into two: the first part premiered in March this year under the title Attack on Titan Final Part: Final chapters.
