Hajime Isayama’s worldwide hit Attack on Titan ended its manga a few weeks ago, but the fandom still has many questions to answer.
While most fans approve of the final chapter, there are still others who feel somewhere near the interpretation of Mikasa and Eren. These fans believe the upcoming additions to chapter 139 will clear things up, but another talk suggests that won’t happen.
For those of you who are already aware of the Attack on Titan fan base, you know there are a lot of people who have been accused of spreading information in a previous way. Possibly the most solid source, Zakken, seems to have warned fans of something coming up in the Attack on Titan additional pages. Obviously, talking at this point is just gossip.
According to netizens’ posts on social media (Twitter), it seems that the 8 additional pages of chapter 139 have no effect on Mikasa, but not in the way that fans need. Rumors suggest that the finale of Attack on Titan is revised to show a more stable Mikasa living with a spouse and children. This expansion will allow Mikasa to continue from standing up to Eren, which is something Armin needs for his companion.
Armin told Eren: “She should be able to forget about her affair and the person she loves and at least be happy. But who knows, maybe she’ll soon find a good one and turn it all down,”
Eren is clearly not interested in Mikasa moving forward, so it seems he still loves her despite his activities. This follows when Eren and Mikasa were asked to be a late game couple in Attack on Titan, however that failed to work out. Eren’s destruction shattered all expectations of his happy ending, however there was no explanation that Mikasa was not allowed to continue. Also, if this rumor is true, producer Hajime Isayama will allow her the chance to do exactly that.
The 139th chapter of the Attack on Titan manga was released on April 8, 2021.
Attack on Titan: The final part of season 2 will be released in the winter of 2022.
