Kodoani.com – Twitter Account Oh! Great is the author of the manga adaptation of NisiOisin’s novel as Bakemonogatari revealed on Tuesday that the manga is entering its final phase in 2022.
The series began to release in July 2019.
The series went on hiatus in July 2019 due to Oh! His grandfather’s sudden illness flared up again in September 2019.
Vertical is publishing the original novel in English and will begin publishing the manga in October. The company describes the story:
One day, high school student Koyomi Araragi encounters a girl named Hitagi Senjougahara while she is traveling. But – to his surprise – she considered nothing. At all. The manga was serialized in Weekly Shōnen magazine in March 2018, and has had a total of 15 volumes published.
Oh! Great is known for creating the Air Gear series, Junk Story – Tetsukuzu Monogatari, and Tenjho Tenge, all of which are inspired by anime. The author has also worked on the plot and art for many manga series such as Burn Up!, Five, Himiko-Den, Majin -Devil-, Naked Star, and Silky Whip. Additionally, he worked on the ending card illustrations for the Arakawa Under the Bridge x Bridge and Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches anime series.
NisiOisin’s novel series began with the two-volume Bakemonogatari story in 2006, and it was the basis for the first anime adaptation of the novel in 2009. The “Final Season” of the novel series ended with Zoku. Owarimonogatari in September 2014, but it introduced a trailer for “Monogatari Series, Next Season Tsugimonogatari.” Four novels – Orokamonogatari , Wazamonogatari, Nademonogatari, and Musubimonogatari – have been written and published. New novel series “Monster Season” Shinobumonogatari in July 2017. The most recent novel, Shinomonogatari, was published in Japan on August 19.
