The August issue of Shogakukan, Ciao magazine revealed on July 2 that Black Alice Manga author Satomi Nakamura will get an anime short. The first episode of the anime short premiered on Ciao’s YouTube channel on July 2, and new episodes will stream on Fridays.
The manga also began serialization in Ciao in the magazine’s August issue. The manga was previously serialized in Shogakukan’s special edition Ciao Deluxe Horror magazine.
The first volume of the manga was released in July 2017, and the seventh volume will be released on July 26.
The manga focuses on Alice, who can be a friend to humanity, but also an enemy. She approaches others about their worries, and helps them make their wishes come true with magical items. But those who have malice in their hearts misuse them, and their desires will backfire.
