As a hardcore fan of the isekai reincarnated world, many people must have realized that anime or manga of this genre often have some overlapping details. Typically, the story mostly begins with the character being hit by a truck and dies before being reincarnated into another world.
However, there are some anime that many people don’t even realize the isekai element in! In these works, although the characters do not die and then reincarnate, they also go to another world.
1. Bleach
This popular anime with a supernatural theme can actually be considered an isekai anime. Bleach is set in three different worlds, namely Soul Society, Hueco Mundo and the human world. Here Ichigo and his friends frequently travel between the three worlds in the fight against Aizen and Yhwach.
Their first isekai adventure is to Soul Society and Hueco Mundo begins when the mission to rescue Rukia is carried out and Orihime is taken hostage by Aizen.
2. Digimon Adventure
Although not known to many fans, Digimon Adventure also has an isekai element. The film is set in the digital world or metaverse formed from the information technology network of people. Digimon Adventure characters all have a partner in the form of a digital monster called a digimon, which mirrors the personalities of the partner children.
Just like a hero summoned to defeat the demon lord, these children are also arranged in such a way to solve the crisis hitting the digital world.
3. Dragon Ball Super
This anime was originally just an anime with a martial arts theme, but over time, the scope of conflict in the story started to widen. Starting from a war with a group of local invaders, now Goku and his friends regularly face enemies from space and participate in wars on other planets.
The culmination is that Goku’s group begins to be invited to a world called Null Realm to participate in the Tournament of Power, a martial arts event that brings together martial artists from different universes. In the contest, the warriors from the universes must try to win or their universe will be wiped out by Zen-Oh.

5. Space Dandy
It can be said, Space Dandy is one of the anime series that incorporates isekai elements that not many people realize. There is some evidence to support this opinion. In the first episode of the second season, Dandy and his friends enter a parallel world after accidentally pulling a cosmic thread. All three also meet their respective parallel versions.
Later in episode 8, a heroine named Poe promptly revealed that Dandy herself had died several times and had moved to another dimension with a different storyline. This seems to explain why Dandy was able to reappear even though he was killed in the previous episode.
6. Blood Lady
This supernatural comedy-themed anime also features an adventure between two worlds. What’s different is, the person going through it is a heroine named Fuyumi Yanagi, who accidentally got stuck in the demon world after going through a portal. The problem is that Fuyumi died and became a curious spirit because of an incident. Staz, who is obsessed with Japanese culture, tries to find a way for Fuyumi to return to life as a normal person. From there, Staz and Fuyumi’s adventure in the world of humans and demons begins.
7. Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun
What if you had to live in another world after being sold by your own family? Perhaps only Iruma could answer that. Iruma went to the world of demons after his soul was sold to a demon named Sullivan. Fortunately, he became the demon’s grandson and was well taken care of.
The thing is, most of the demons there think humans are food. That’s why Iruma must try not to lose her identity.
