Kodoani.com – Second stage play adapted from soccer manga “BLUELOCK” by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yūsuke Nomura has been announced to run at Kyoto Theater from January 18 to 24 and Hulic Hall Tokyo from January 25 to 31. The first stage play of “BLUELOCK” was held at Sankei Hall Breeze in Osaka on May 4 to 7 and at Sunshine Theater in Tokyo on May 11 to 14. Other actors participated in the play This play, includes Nobunaga Satō as Meguru Bachira, Shōta Matsuda as Rensuke Kunigami, and Ryō Saeki as Hyoma Chigiri.
The manga “BLUELOCK” is published by Kodansha USA in English, both online and in print. The manga’s story revolves around the Japanese Football Association trying to create an excellent striker to lead the team. Leading the Japanese team to victory at the World Cup, they gathered 300 of Japan’s best and youngest players to find who will be the team’s leader.
Manga “BLUELOCK” debuted in Weekly Shōnen magazine in August 2018. It was adapted into a television anime in October 2022, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.
