BlueStacks is known as an Android emulator on PC. Recently, it continues to expand its ability to make mobile game mods.
The platform is called Creator Studio & Creator Hub. The platform runs locally as part of BlueStacks X and also has a cloud version hosted on the Now.gg service.
According to BlueStacks, on this platform you can create mods for all mobile games developed using Cocos, Unity and Unreal Engine. However, in fact, it only supports mods for some famous games so far. Among them are Free Fire, State of Survival, Lords Mobile, Walking Dead, Looney Tunes World of Mayhem and Arknights.
Assume that in Creator Studio & Creator Hub you can create revisions on three levels:
+ Basic: work with color correction. For example, the user can add a dark theme to the game.+ Medium: modify effects in the game, such as those that appear on the screen during scenes or kill enemies.+ Advanced: 2D and 3D texture changes, including game items and character clothing.
Creator Studio & Creator Hub allows you to not only create revisions, but also share links with them. Also, according to Bluestacks, mods can be monetized. Founder and CEO of Bluestacks and Now.gg Rosen Sharma believes that mobile mods will become an important part of gamers’ lives in the future.
“By 2025, most mobile gamers will be playing modified versions of the game,” said Sharma. “Imagine looking for a game and finding mods made by your favorite gamers, streamers, or fans. Universal access to mobile game mods opens up endless possibilities for gamers and developers, forever changing the way we create, distribute and experience mobile games.”
BlueStacks was founded in 2011. In July 2021, the company released a new version of BlueStacks 5. However, 3 months later, it introduced BlueStacks X, which runs on the cloud platform.
