Despite being thrown out, bleeding behind his ear and injured in some places, fortunately the young man survived and regained consciousness after a few days in the emergency room.
On Sunday, September 4, a video went viral on social media of a young Indian being hit by a train while filming a video to post on Instagram’s Reels.
The incident happened on a railway line near Kazipet station in Telangana, southern India. The young man in the video, identified as 17-year-old Ch Akshay Raj, is filming a video with his friend walking near the train tracks to post on Instagram, with the desire to become an “influencer – an influencer” “.
It is known that at that time a train was about to pass through the area. Despite the railway staff’s warnings, the two young men ignored them and approached the tracks. As a result, things seem to have quickly deviated from the couple’s calculations.
In the video, Raj can be seen walking along the railway and the train behind him is coming at a fairly fast speed. Although the boy holding the camera at this time warned Raj, but with the rapid speed of the train, the young man did not have time to avoid it, but was directly hit with a strong force.
Even though it was only in contact with the shoulder blades, the speed and close contact distance also caused the young man’s whole body to fly away like a “cloth doll”, full of pain. The clip ends with Raj standing up with blood dripping from behind his ear.
Police and railway staff quickly took the young man to a local hospital before his family arrived and transferred him to another private hospital.
After a period of emergency, Raj finally passed the critical condition and miraculously survived. Even so, the young man still suffered quite a lot of injuries to his face, broken bones in his arms and legs, and a few other injuries on his body. Local authorities are currently opening a detailed investigation into the incident.
It is known that this is not the first time that “social network stars” have had an accident while recording their videos.
Last year, another “star” in China was killed while filming a video on the crane she used to work every day.
The girl, named Xiao Qiumei, 23, works as a crane operator and regularly shares videos of her work with her thousands of followers.
In the final video, witnesses shared that they saw her fall from a height of about 48m with the phone in her hand and died soon after.
At the same time, another 32-year-old Instagram star, from Hong Kong, also died when he slipped and fell into the Tsing Dai stream while taking a selfie.
