Tomoyuki Itamura Directs Anime Starring Gen Sato, Sora Amamiya at LIDEN FILMS
Kodoani.com – Manga by author Kotoyama is Call of the Night (Yofukashi no Uta) will have an anime adaptation debuting on Fuji TV’s Noitamina channel in July. An official website opened for the anime on Thursday, and has revealed a teaser promotional video, images, cast and team staff. The video reveals the opening song “Yofukashi no Uta” (Call of the Night) by Creepy Nuts.

Tomoyuki Itamura (Monogatari series) is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS with Tetsuya Miyanishi (Josee, The Tiger and the Fish) as the main director. Michiko Yokote (Bleach, Shirobako, Prison School, Cowboy Bebop) is writing the script. Haruka Sagawa (Happy-Go-Lucky Days) is designing the characters.

Main story:
Nanakusa is a vampire. That’s okay with the human Ko. He also wants to be one of them. But the transformation doesn’t come so easily…
When Nazuna invited Ko to spend the night at her place in an abandoned building, he was hooked! Kotoyama created the Call of the Night manga and published it in Shounen Sunday in May 2019. Shogakukan publishes the eighth compiled book volume on November 16, and it will publish the ninth volume on November 18.
