Being called by a series of Vietnamese LoL fans because of their unprofessional statements, the Vietnam LCK fanpage had to post an apology to the gaming community.
In the international LoL community, it’s not uncommon for players to perform with low performance and be criticized. However, these criticisms often come from the audience and rarely appear from the official fanpage of the tournament.
However, recently, the Vietnam LCK fanpage (with a green tick) had a controversial comment about a Korean League of Legends player: “Doran’s stupid boy, but he’s still good in combat.”
Immediately, the comments of the Vietnam LCK fanpage caused mixed opinions. Some fans think that this is a joke about the player and do not need to take the matter seriously, there are also many fans who think that this is extremely unprofessional behavior and the Vietnam LCK fanpage should not have such a statement.
The comments of the Vietnam LCK fanpage have made quite a lot of League of Legends gamers angry.
As a result, a few hours later, the Vietnam LCK fanpage had to apologize to the fans:
“We would like to apologize to the audience of the Vietnamese LCK channel for the content censorship that led to unnecessary misunderstandings, negatively affecting the viewer experience and the tournament in general.
We would like to confirm that the production of sideline content to promote the tournament is not intentionally aimed at any individual or organization. Once again, we apologize for the shortcomings that caused this issue, we will have a stricter content selection and moderation in the future.
Thank you for your understanding and support for the Vietnamese LCK.” – Vietnam LCK fanpage shared.
After this post was shared, the Vietnam LCK fanpage was still called by the League of Legends community, because in the article there was no apology for the player called “dumb boy” – Doran. Currently, the case is still attracting a lot of attention from Vietnamese LoL gamers.
