Since 2006, Silk Road has become an indispensable part in the lives of many gamers, and Nguyen Cao Quy is no exception, this game has been with him for the past 17 years.
Since Silk Road was exclusively released by VTC Game in the Vietnamese market under the name Silkroad Origin VTC, many SRO VTC club groups have been established in provinces and cities including Quang Ninh.
We are very fortunate to be able to chat with traveler Nguyen Cao Quy to hear his shares and opinions in his role as president of SRO VTC Quang Ninh Club regarding the SRO VTC game as well as the club he is managing. Please follow the conversation below.
Reporter: Hello, we have a chat with Nguyen Cao Quy, a veteran gamer of Silkroad Online. You’ve been playing this game for 17 years, right?
Nguyen Cao Quy: Exactly, I’ve been playing Silkroad Origin VTC since 2006 and still playing to this day. That’s a long time.
Reporter: That’s very impressive, do you often add cards to the game?
Nguyen Cao Quy: Occasionally, at Silkroad Origin VTC up to now I have only spent about 2 million VND in the game. Work and family also require my time, so I play games mainly for entertainment and socializing.
Reporter: So what level is your character currently at?
Nguyen Cao Quy:Currently, my character is level 71 and preparing to level 72.
Reporter: Regarding enhancement, you have your own views, right?
Nguyen Cao Quy:That’s right, I like to enhance items for my own use. Currently, I have successfully enhanced a D9 bow to +7. I could continue to enhance it even higher, but since I haven’t reached the level to use it yet, I’m considering it.
Reporter: How do you see the current enhancement rate on the Thien Kim server?
Nguyen Cao Quy:I think the current enhancement rate on the Thien Kim server is quite reasonable. It’s not too difficult and not too easy, creating a balanced game experience.
Reporter: Regarding items and gold, what is your opinion?
Nguyen Cao Quy:I think the publisher should allow the sale of LKD with gold at NPC to avoid inflation and devaluation of gold, like currently on the Thien Kim server.
Reporter: Do you participate in game events and receive gifts?
Nguyen Cao Quy:Yes, I attended the event and received a shirt and mouse pad. The shirt is nice and high quality, but the mouse pad is a bit large for my desk, so it’s suitable for larger gaming desks.
Reporter: About your Quang Ninh Club, is there anything worth mentioning?
Nguyen Cao Quy:Quang Ninh Club was established in 2006 and maintained under the issuance of VDC-Net2e. After NPH VDC-Net2e closed, VTC company bought back the copyright and helped the club continue to exist. We are very grateful to the company for creating conditions for us to have a meaningful entertainment playground. SRO VTC Quang Ninh Club was officially established on September 30, 2023 and currently has nearly 50 official members.
Reporter: Finally, what events has your club organized?
Nguyen Cao Quy:The club has organized a level 10 horse racing event and is currently planning the next event. We want to give our members a memorable and enjoyable experience.
