The official Twitter account of Libre Publishing’s Be x Boy magazine revealed on Saturday that the manga Caste Heaven by Chise Ogawa will end in the manga’s eighth volume. The manga’s seventh volume is published on Monday.
Ogawa previously revealed in January that she plans to end the manga this year.
SuBLime licensed the manga and released the fifth volume on March 9. SuBLime describes the story of the first volume:
It’s a ruthless game where the card you own determines your class rank. Azusa has a king, who is the strongest of the cards, allowing him to rule his class despite his extreme ruthlessness. But all bets were off when Azusa was overtaken twice, shattering his pride as he fell to the pee, the lowest of the ranks. Now bullied by the very people he himself mistreats, Azusa is given a choice – become the new king’s toy… or serve the whole class!
The manga is serialized in Libre ‘s Be x Boy magazine.
The series that inspired the mobile game launched in April 2020.
