After about a week into season 6.5, the Teamfight Tactics players must have gotten used to the new meta and made their own comments. For Challenger gamers, there are many people who are not satisfied with some of the new content that Riot brings to the “dignity flag”. Of course, with a high level, they can still climb Challenger easily, but making the Teamfight Tactics fall into a rather unbalanced state as it is now is something they are not satisfied with.
A big problem of season 6.5 is that the physical damage squads are too strong and the magic damage team-comp is extremely weak.
Even yesterday evening – February 20 (Vietnam time), Challenger – K3soju posted a very long post on his personal Twitter to criticize season 6.5. Specifically, this guy threw stones at the design of some generals, especially Silco, when they were too strong for similar pieces. In addition, the fact that season 6.5 spawned too many gold-supplying technology cores, which proved to be quite bad in the mid and late game, also made K3soju think that the design was too bad.
Silco providing too many strong effects at 1 star level is something that is extremely unbalanced
A few hours later, it was the director of the Tactics Arena project – Riot Mortdog who read this article on his livestream and explained it to the gaming community. Basically, representatives of Riot Games agree with most of the shortcomings that season 6.5 encountered, but to solve all those problems, it takes a lot of time to research. However, Riot Mortdog also revealed that in the upcoming 12.4b patch, they will nerf Silco when this is a unit that is too strong and versatile.
Riot Mortdog admits that he and the team didn’t do well and let Silco become too strong
And in the upcoming patch 12.4b, Silco will be nerfed along with Renata, Sejuani and Tech clan.
Indeed, when looking at Silco’s skill set and clan – system, we can see that this is a unit that is too comprehensive and makes many squads extremely cool. Basically, Silco’s move will buff an ally to become extremely strong, resistant to control effects for 8 seconds, at the end of the time, that unit will die to deal damage. This skill can help your squad clear the enemy team very easily.
Normally with such a powerful skill, Silco would have to have a maximum mana between 80 and 120. However, this unit only has 40 maximum mana, a number that is too small compared to what the move is. This can do. Remember that Silco himself is a Scholar, so the mana regeneration of this unit is already extremely good.
This Scholar duo is too strong for its price
Hopefully, Riot Games will have reasonable tweaks to Silco in the upcoming version 12.4b when they can increase the skill’s energy or decrease the power of this skill. Moreover, the nerfs aimed at the Tech and Renata races are also very noticeable when the squads around them are too strong at the moment.
