Ahead of Worlds 2022, Deft shared his unique perspective on the strengths of the top ADCs in League of Legends.
With DRX in the same group as Royal Never Give Up in the Play-In Round, Deft is sure that his biggest opponent is GALA. Therefore, the veteran player of the LCK has made quite detailed and highly appreciated comments about this opponent.
“There are a few players that I can tell by the way they move, one of them is GALA. The way he moves from laning to teamfights sets a very different rhythm, and I’m a player who loves that. Therefore, the upcoming confrontation with GALA will be very interesting.” Deft shared on InvenGlobal.
“Legendary ADCs like Imp and Uzi always have a very distinct movement tempo, it really sets a rhythm and I really enjoyed watching that. I used to have pretty good rhythm control in the past, but now I find that I have lost a lot of feeling and am not the same anymore.”

With only RNG being the equal opponent in this group, Deft thinks that DRX’s goal is definitely to compete for the top of the group and win a straight spot and the Group Stage. However, this ADC said there is also a small percentage of the home team that may be eliminated and not make it to the US in time.
What worries Deft the most is that DRX does not have much data on the play of the rest of the teams in the table such as MAD Lions, Saigon Buffalo… Therefore, the 4th representative of Korea must prepare mentally to cope. with surprises from these unknowns.
Deft and his teammates have been on the road to Mexico since September 24 and have started their first practice when participating in the Champions Queue. It is clear that this team’s early move is essential because on the first day of competition, DRX will face RNG. With a round-robin format, this match is considered an “early final” to determine the team with a high probability of winning the top of Group A.
