Kodoani.com – Kadokawa’s Harta magazine revealed in volume 106 on Saturday that the story of the adventurer Laios in the manga Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi) by Ryōko Kui will have an epic conclusion in the magazine’s next issue.
Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi) is a manga series with a unique content that combines danger and food. The story revolves around the expedition being trapped in a dungeon and they must find a way to survive by eating the creatures in the dungeon. When the young adventurer Laios and his companions were attacked by a dragon deep in the dungeon, they lost all their money and food. Laios came up with the interesting idea that they could eat monsters to survive.
The Delicious in Dungeon manga is written by Ryōko Kui and serialized in Kadokawa’s Harta magazine since February 2014. As of August 2022, 12 tankobon volumes have been published. Episode 11 revealed in September 2021 that the story is reaching a climax. The English version of the manga published by Yen Press released the 12th volume on May 23.
Delicious in Dungeon’s story is also inspiring a television anime series produced by Studio Trigger, which is set to air worldwide on Netflix in January 2024.
