Demon Slayer Movie Mugen Train has a Blu-Ray release date

The final Demon Slayer theatrical release will be available on Blu-ray later this year, accompanied by a Limited Edition bundle with plenty of bonuses.

The record-breaking Mugen Train theatrical release with Demon Slayer : Kimestu No Yaiba will finally be released on Blu-ray on December 21.

Funimation has announced that the critically-acclaimed anime will receive both standard and limited editions before the end of the year. The Mugen Train Limited Edition package includes the soundtrack on CD, a plush booklet, and an outer hard case featuring new artwork by character designer Akira Matsuhshima. The Blu-ray will also contain commentary with English subtitles from the series’ voice actors Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado), Akari Kito (Nezuko Kamado), Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu Agatsuma), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Inosuke Hashibira) and Satoshi Hino (Kyojuro Rengoku). The Limited Edition pack is now available for pre-order from anime distributor Right Stuf.

Originally released in Japan in 2020, the anime series is the highest-grossing animated film of all time in the country, grossing over 40 billion yen and smashing the record held by Spirited Away by Studio Ghibli for over a decade. The series tells the story of Tanjiro Kamado, a good boy.
